Our group has constructed a testing setup for one silicon module using CMS front-end electronics at CERN. The setup can easily be extended to house up to four such modules. The setup has been used to test CMS APV-hybrids at low temperatures aiming for development of cryogenic tracking detectors by CERN RD39 collaboration. We have produced our first Czochralski silicon (Cz-Si) detector modules with an APV-hybrid. The Cz-Si modules will be compared with standard CMS detectors before and after irradiation. Because of the lack of test beams at CERN during next 2 years, we will add a LED testing system and beta source to the setup. For more comprehensive tests we have later a possibility to use the Cosmic Ray telescope in Helsinki that is constructed in close collaboration with the CMS TOB Cosmic Rack (CRack) group in addition to gamma source testing with the CMS HCAL group at CERN.
